......and the Vikings have not traded for Vincent Jackson why.......?
So after last weeks game with the Saints......it was painfully obvious that the vikings needed another wide receiver. Bernard Berrian was playing like he would rather be somewher else, and poor percy Harvin was just getting way to much attention from the defense. Especially for a guy that had just collapsed on the practice field a few weeks ago. So afterwards, it seemed obvious...the Vikings will trade for Vincent Jackson tomorrow or shortly thereafter........alas no. then came the news on the arbitrator ruling coming up that might allow Vincent Jackson to play earlier if he is picked up by a team. That ruling came Thursday, surely the trade would happen before thursday was over.......alas no. What are the Viking waiting for. the last report out of the Norseland was that they planned to get percy Harvin more involved.......which I thought they tried last week. So here's to hoping that the Viking King, Brett Favre, can release some magic in Game 2. Cheers!

ReplyDeleteAccording to Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen of ESPN's Sunday NFL Countdown, "everybody around the league" believes the Vikings are the "one team to watch" in Vincent Jackson trade talks.
The belief is that Jackson will either return to San Diego or end up in Minnesota. There's also been talk of the Redskins making a bid, though latest indications suggest the Rams and Seahawks are only "moderately interested." The Chargers are expected to wait until after the Week 2 games are finished to strike a deal." Rotoworld.com
